right up and touch the sky”
Come summers and the youngsters in Delhi have the
opportunity to touch the skies, so to speak, by broadening their
horizons and taking up some cool part time summer jobs to beat the heat!!
Whether it is the much awaited vacation time in school or a summer break
from college, most students and even others look forward to it.
There are plenty of opportunities available for all
those who are confident, excited and willing to prove themselves.
One of the most common type of summer job sees smart boys and girls as hosts
and hostesses at various exhibitions and Company sponsored events. This
is a well paying option and comes with some great perks like good food during
the day, a smart uniform and a great environment to be in!!
Many Exhibitions are organized by ITPO at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi on
a regular basis thus hiring a lot of part time staff to handle the stalls
at the various pavilions. Companies running promotional schemes hire staff
to handle their PR / Publicity events.
A lot of Companies hire young staff to conduct surveys and door to door
interviews as part of their Marketing Research efforts. Behind the counter
sales, Event coordination and backstage help are some other part time jobs
that one can take up. Some not so common options include baby sitting.
With so many options available, candidates
have the freedom to try their hand at those jobs which suit their profile
and interests. The best thing about these summer jobs is that they are part
time, giving the candidates plenty of time to take care of their other interests.
The pay scale is not bad too and the gain is also in terms of on the job
