Infosys hired 8,026 employees in Q2

Software major Infosys hired the highest-ever number of employees -- 8,026 -- for any quarter in its history during Q2 ended September 30, 2005.
Infosys had urged the government to increase the intake in IITs and IIMs, besides being in contact with the faculty of over 100 engineering colleges to upgrade the curriculum needed for the industry.
