Dubai Outsource Zone forges alliance with IT- People

Dubai Outsource Zone (DOZ), an upcoming free zone dedicated to the outsourcing industry, on Thursday announced that, it has tied up with India HR solutions company IT-People to promote and market DOZ, help clients set up bases there, and provide entire gamut of man power services.

The Zone, which plans to be operational by early 2006, is currently in the process of attracting companies to Dubai. About 65 companies from around the world have already registered to set up business and knowledge process outsourcing (KPO) centres in the free zone.

DOZ will initially target companies in the US, India, the UK and Germany and focus on attracting mid-range to high-end BPO and KPO services firms from sectors like finance and accounting, HR, transaction processing, IT, graphics, engineering, R&D and energy.
