Nissan to set up BPO unit in India

Japan’s second largest car maker Nissan Motor Co is preparing plans to set up its first factory in India. The firm, which has started operations in India through the completely built car import route, said it will consider a plan to build a production facility to drive deeper into the burgeoning passenger car market in India.

Nissan also plans to establish a BPO unit in India to manage its back-office operations like finance, accounting and HR.

Nissan India would provide the customer care, billing and technical support services.
