Job Description: Your responsibilities will include:
� Conceptualising, planning and
monitoring of evaluation strategies for the organisation�s range of
programmes
� Designing and managing research studies in conjunction with the
organisation�s goals and programmes
� Creating evaluation tools, adopting research methodology and overseeing
data collection
� Analysing data and formulating recommendations for programme development
� Preparing research reports and advocacy papers
� Building the capacity of field and programme staff to meet programme
evaluation needs
You will be the link between programme staff and internal or external
researchers.
The work will be based in Bangalore city and involve travel to projects in
other parts of Karnataka when required
Applicant profile:
� Post graduate / Masters degree in any humanities field or equivalent
� Over 5 years of experience in working with or in planning, monitoring and
evaluating projects in the social sector is necessary
� Prior training or experience in the education sector is preferred
� Strong written and oral communication skills in English are essential.
Knowledge of Kannada and Urdu / Hindi would be an advantage.
� Solution oriented and should have a strong analytical mindset
� Computer literacy and ability to handle varied software tools
� Flexibility and willingness work with and contribute to areas of operation
� Should have the managerial capacity to lead and initiate evaluation
strategies
� Ability work with individuals across a broad spectrum - from research and
education specialists to field workers
