VICE PRESIDENT - HR
The Company : An established brand name in EPC Projects, Power Projects, Roads &
Highway Projects, Water & Effluent Treatment Projects, Large Turn key
Electrical Projects. As you already know, there are very few
professionally managed Companies in India that are involved in all such
projects under one roof. The recession being over, large number of
contracts are being signed. The organisation is expanding rapidly as a
result into other countries and would need large number of personnel.
The experience gained in working for all the National & International
Turn Key Projects have earned the team members respect that would be
incomparable. Obviously the Job Content would involve technology that is
mind boggling, hence immensely satisfying.
People with experience higher than what is specified below may also
apply to be considered for senior level positions.
Age: 40 to 55 years of age
Hierarchy : The Head of HR and Administration reports to the Director
Operations who in turn reports to the MD.
Earning Potential: Indian Rupees Eight Lakhs per annum for the right
candidate.
Job Content - He would set up the total systems for ensuring the
following :-
*The system would ensure creation of a large database of potential
employees or Contractees
* The system would ensure regular update of performance of both
Recruitment Consultants as well as the Companies that provide staff on a
contractual basis
* The system would ensure a "Welcome to the company" booklet to guide
all recruits relating to the company's past, present and future, the
company rules, norms, HR related support and contact names & numbers in
each state/site, residential premises/help provided in this regard in
each state/site, urgent provision needs such as winter
quilts/mattresses/mosquito net etc to be provided on rent until
purchased and the contact number for this purpose, card number ( to be
logged in and out during entry and exit respectively ),
location of suggestion boxes to improve HR activity, the Hierarchy chart
of the organisation, specific days of normal " Meet your HR
Head"(normally Saturday and is totally discreet ), the local doctors
name and contact numbers, names of hospitals that the employee is
entitled to in case of extreme emergency, meal / laundry related help
and contact numbers thereof .
Such a booklet would act as a Salesman for the professionalism that has
come about within the organisation.
* The system would ensure a division that is geared 24 hours to conduct
quick training programmes - theory/ mock followed by trial and
subsequently live working environment to ensure that no project is left
without it's engineers and that the project is completed within the
scheduled time periods. The system would ensure that a majority of such
engineers are staff provided by Empanelled Consultants and that labour
problems are Non Existent.
* The system would ensure automatic compliance and troubleshooting with
Statutory Authorities.
IR challenges would be visualised in advance and corrective steps would
be taken automatically without much fanfare.
