Responsibility:
1. Identify Needs and Opportunities for Ranger (focused on solving real
customer problems)
» Interface with industry bodies, customer, consultants, and evaluate
competition to understand domain and determine what features would solve
key problems within the overall fraud management area.
» Providing the ongoing definition and refinement of product strategy
and feature set as part of Roadmap, to meet both short term and long
range goals based on the market and customer needs
2. Launch product modules into the marketplace.
» Define key messages and unique selling proposition.
» Support marketing in creating and executing on marketing plans for the
product
3. Manage the product (customer feedback, positioning, messaging,
tracking results, competitive situations, etc)
» Coordinate with all cross functional groups to provide support for
product development and release as per roadmap
» Perform ongoing monitoring of all relevant market changes including
competitive activities and feed information back into product evolution
activities.
» Support sales activities and conference presence wherever needed
Skills & Competencies:
» Experience in Product Management or Product Implementation in the
telecom space
» Must possess excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
and experience in interaction with customers’ upper management
» Ability to learn quickly is key as is the ability to focus on the
right details as well as the bigger picture
» Must be comfortable in discussing core technical issues with
development and implementation
Technical Knowledge: Telecom
Experience: 2 to 6 years.
