SOFTWARE DEVELOPER (Job Code: SW-01)
B.Sc / M.Sc / B.E. / MCA in Computer Science
2+years of hands-on experience in building web-related applications Stools for biological databases using PERL, Visual Basic and JavaScript on UNIX / Windows platform. Experience in relational database design, SQL / Oracle / Postgre SOL.

UNIX SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR (Job Code: SA-01)
B.E./ MCA /B.Sc / BCA / Diploma
3+years of hands-on experience as a UNIX / Linux system administrator (Solaris, Debian, Red Hat Servers) - having configured DNS, NIS, NFS, Firewall, SAMBA, Apache, Squid, sendmail and IMAP. Must have done performance tuning, write and debug Shell scripts. FTP Server administration, PERL, MS-SQL, Oracle and LDAP is a plus.

DATABASE SCIENTIFIC CURATORS (Job Code: DC01)
Responsible for collecting and integrating scientific information into Biobase's Proteome Databases.
M.Sc or Ph.D in Biotechnology/ Biochemistry / Molecular Biology / Genetics.
2+years of experience in biological research

Experience in mammalian laboratory work is desired. Must demonstrate an excellent understanding of molecular biology concepts.

DATABASE SCIENTIFIC CURATORS - YPD (Job Code: DC01 -YPD)
Experience in yeast laboratory work with S. cerevisiae or S. pombe and / or C. albicans is particularly valued. Must

demonstrate understanding of yeast molecular genetics and familiarity with techniques normally discussed in the yeast

literature. Strong skills in written English are essential.

DATABASE SCIENTIFIC CURATORS - GPCR-PD (Job Code: DC01 -GPCR)
Experience in signal transduction work is required; experience in G protein coupled receptor signaling is particularly valued. Strong skills in written English are essential.
