ASSISTANT PROJECT ANALYST
Job Description :
1. providing statistical, analytical and administrative support to the function of portfolio management.
2. monitoring physical progress in project / TA implementation.
3. familiarizing Executing Agencies (EAs) with ADB guidelines and procedures and ensuring their compliance with loan covenants.
4. compiling and updating data on contract awards and loan disbursements for generation of various reports.
5. updating all the Project Administration Memorandum (PAM) of on going projects in the country, including projects description / scope, project cost, loan allocation, procurement, loan covenants, etc.
6. assisting in processing disbursements for delegated and non-delegated projects.
7. preparing and updating Project Performance Report (PPR) for delegated projects and generating routine PPR, carrying out other related functions as may be required.
8. reviewing bid documents, bid evaluations, contract awards, etc. and assisting in drafting related reports.
9. preparing draft Project Completion Report and Technical Assistance Completion Report, reviewing draft bid documents and EAs' bid evaluation report and preparing draft procurement paper.
10. Maintaining and updating all forms of project files.
11. Joining loan processing and loan review missions from time to time to support mission leader(s).
Selection Criteria :
? suitability to undertake the responsibilities mentioned at the required level.
? bachelor's degree, preferably in engineering and with finance background.
? minimum of five years work experience preferably in urban planning and development, water supply and sewerage; related experience in international agencies will be an advantage.
? excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
? proven ability to undertake background research and analysis with minimum supervision and direction.
? excellent computer skills with sound knowledge of commonly used application software such as MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Internet etc.
? strong interpersonal skills suitable for multicultural environment.
? familiarity with local languages and institutions.
