Detective
A detective has a special
kind of mentality. You would need to be able to think extremely logically,
be able to look at events as objectively as possible, not jump to hasty
conclusion, be dedicated, persistent, patient and very intelligent. A
better than average memory for faces, facts and so on is vital in this
career. Any evidence which is collected has to be as fully documented as
possible in case it is needed for a court case.
Your task would be, basically, to discover the truth about specific
events. There are private detectives and members of the police force and
their duties differ only slightly. The private detective is employed and
paid by a client and the other receives a salary.
