Stress has become an inseparable part of our daily life what with increased work pressures, desire to outdo others and make a better life for oneself. No matter what you do and where you live, it is becoming increasingly difficult to escape stress.

Here are some simple tips for fighting stress -

  • Analyze All Aspects Of Your Life: and find out the reasons why you are happy, sad, worried or angry. Understand what factors trigger stress in your life - you will realise then that your state of mind is largely affected by the decisions that you make and the way you live your life. Learn to make the right choices in life and correct those decisions that may be weighing you down. 
     

  • Identify Situations That Give You Stress: What stresses you out? - responsibilities, uncertainties, expectations? Understand situations that stress you and work around them.

  • Practice Deep Breathing, Yoga & Meditation : It is believed that regular yoga and meditation can help you to relax and fight stress. In addition, join a hobby club and try to keep yourself occupied in a positive manner.

  • Prioritize: Often too much work / responsibilities can slow you down and put undue pressure on you. Hence, learnt to schedule your tasks so that you are not stressed by all that you have to accomplish.
