Cultural activities in IIT Delhi: 

Board for recreational & cultural activities, which comprises of many clubs. All these are responsible for various activities. The clubs are: 

1. EDLC – ( English debating & literary club) It organizes events like extempore, debates, Pictionary,  parliamentary debates , Dumsharades , JAM etc

2. Hindi Samiti – Organizes similar events as above but in Hindi language.

3.Dance & Dramatics club – Organizes Hindi & English plays & skits along with various dance events

4.Music club – Organizes western, eastern nights, musical skits, classical & instrumental etc.

5. PADS (Photo & Audio visual society ) – Organizes workshops  teaching photography etc

6.Film series committee- involved in screening movies in IIT  campus

7.Indoor sports club – organizes card games, carom , Table Tennis , Billiards & pool 

Along with these clubs we have Boards for student welfare for those who wish to work for welfare.

Also we have a Board for student’s publication which is involved in taking out campus magazines & reporting .We have the biggest cultural festival in North India known as Rendezvous. It comprises of events organized by all these clubs along with professional performance. In fact the competition for this cultural trophy among various hostels is worth seeing. We have cultural events that keep you working & striving for excellence in your field of interest.
