Students & Graduates - India
We offer a student attachment program
specifically aimed at business school graduates at two levels:
1. The Student Programs at India:
The Student Program at
HP in India
Students are required to do a project with HP India over a period of
8-10 weeks. This program is similar to summer or autumn internship
well known across the country. Examples of projects include a market
survey, a market strategy for a particular product in a particular
market, or a study of the best practices in the industry in any
function. Students who have completed their first year of study are
eligible to participate.
Selection process:
The selection process for summer interns begins a year in advance.
For example, students who are doing their projects in April - May
2006 will be selected in August – November 2005. The selection
process includes a preliminary screening of the candidates and
personal interviews for the short listed candidates.

2. The Graduate Programs at India:
The Graduate Programs at HP in India
Targeted at Masters students from business schools for
full-time/permanent employment, the kinds of roles for these new hires
include Sales Specialists, Account Managers, Channel Sales Managers and
Business Managers.
Selection process:
For candidates with previous working experience, the selection process
begins as early as October/November for candidates coming on board in
April/May the following year. However, for students without prior work
experience, the selection process starts in January to March of the same
year.
